About Assistance League
Mission Statement
Assistance League is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) philanthropic volunteer organization chartered in 1976 that develops and implements community based philanthropic projects.
Our founders had a vision in 1976 of Helping Hands and Caring Hearts.
Today their vision is being carried on by dedicated volunteers who contribute over 12,000 service hours a year helping local children in need. We hope your visit to our website gives you a deeper understanding of the needs of so many living in our community. Come, walk with us as we tell you about Assistance League.
Meetings
Assistance League meets on the second Monday
of each month at 1:00 p.m. Meetings are held
at the Chapter House. You are welcome to join
us for coffee at 12:30 prior to the regular meeting.
Membership
Assistance League needs your volunteer help! Getting involved in our community is a great way to give back, as well as a wonderful opportunity to interact and meet new people. Our volunteers help prepare items for the thrift shop. Your support helps Assistance League purchase new clothing for elementary school children in need in the Hemet and San Jacinto elementary schools. If you have a few hours a month and want to help the children in our valley, please call Judy Palmieri, Membership Chair (951)652-4305.
